Fabric Care

Wash At 30

Our fabrics can be washed in the machine at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Normal detergents often contain harsh ingredients which can damage fabrics as well as the washing machine over time.

We recommend that you use a gentle, environmentally friendly laundry detergent designed for delicate fabrics, and wash inside out. This will help all your garments and your machine last longer, thereby helping to reduce waste, which is better for the planet too.

Drying

Unlike silk, our fabrics can be tumble dried.

Reshape the garments whilst damp and either dry flat, then iron inside out on a medium heat setting, or pop them in a tumble dryer, set to a gentle low setting to restore that silky soft feeling.

A steam iron on a medium setting can be used, and where ironing must be done on the right side, place a natural cloth or muslin between the garment and the iron. Even better use a garment steamer!
